The world is full of fascinating objects which inspires me to create a personal pictorial universe.
By working with common objects and simple material, I try to give them a new perspective. These everyday-life objects mostly go unnoticed as they blend into our world. They are silent, but present. I am attracted to small and delicate objects that I can feel and that I can hold into the palms of my hands as I can relate them to my body and to my own sensibility. In a contemplative way, their quietness allows me to imagine for them a whole other universe and to play intuitively with the unexpected.
My work is an experimental and intimate study of the simple object.
